Mercury by Hope Larson

Eisner award-winning Canadian graphic novelist Hope Larson is an amazingly talented girl. Her new book, Mercury, has all the things I liked about her other book, Chiggers: elegant panels that delicately portray her characters, a bit of magical realism, and a demonstrable understanding of what it means to be a teenage girl.
